Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our online booking system or by contacting the studio directly.

Clients must provide accurate contact information when booking so that appointment confirmations and communications can be sent. Electrolysis Beauty Lounge is not responsible for mistyped information.

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge reserves the right to modify appointment times when necessary due to scheduling adjustments or unforeseen circumstances.

Phone consultations are available for clients who would like personalized guidance before beginning treatment.

Consultations are optional and are not required to begin electrolysis treatment. Our website FAQs and Knowledge Library provide extensive educational information for clients who prefer to review the process independently before booking.

A $25 consultation fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your phone consultation. Consultation fees are non-refundable.

The consultation fee covers the time reserved specifically for your one-on-one conversation with Electrolysis Beauty Lounge and applies regardless of whether you ultimately schedule an electrolysis treatment.

If you need to reschedule your consultation, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. With proper notice, the existing consultation fee may be transferred to the rescheduled consultation appointment. Cancellations, missed consultations, or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee, and a new $25 fee will be required to book another consultation.

Please be available at the telephone number provided at the scheduled appointment time. If we are unable to reach you, the appointment will be considered missed and the consultation fee will remain non-refundable.

We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will receive a refund in the original form of payment or may be applied to a future appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged the full cost of the appointment.

Clients who fail to show for their appointment will be charged the full service fee.

Clients with unpaid balances from late cancellations or no-shows will be restricted from booking future appointments until the balance is paid.

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Clients arriving late may have their appointment shortened in order to respect the next client’s scheduled time. The full service fee will still apply.

If a client arrives excessively late, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.

Payment is due at the time of service.

• Digital payments: Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Apple Pay, Google Pay

Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at their first electrolysis appointment.

 The parent or legal guardian is required to:

• Be physically present for the initial appointment

• Review and complete all required intake and health history forms

• Provide informed consent for treatment

• Sign all applicable consent and policy documents

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge will not perform services on a minor without verified parent or legal guardian consent and completed documentation.

For subsequent appointments, continued parental consent must remain on file. Electrolysis Beauty Lounge reserves the right to require a parent or guardian to be present at any appointment if deemed necessary.

To accurately track treatment progress and ensure the highest quality of care, photographs and/or short video recordings are required at the start of treatment and periodically throughout the treatment journey (approximately every six months).

These images allow us to objectively document hair growth patterns, treatment response, and long-term progress.

All images and videos captured during treatment are confidential and maintained as part of your client record.

Media obtained during appointments will be used solely for treatment documentation and progress tracking unless the client provids explicit consent for additional use in the Media Release section of the intake form.

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge respects client privacy and will never use images or videos for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes without written authorization.

By receiving treatment, clients acknowledge and agree to the use of media for clinical documentation purposes only unless additional permissions are granted.

Electrolysis permanently destroys hair follicles during the active growth phase (anagen) of the hair cycle. Because not all hairs are in this phase at the same time, multiple treatments are required to achieve permanent results.

Successful treatment outcomes depend heavily on consistent appointments scheduled according to the recommended treatment plan.

Clients who experience long gaps between treatments may see slower progress or temporary regrowth due to untreated hair entering the growth phase.

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge cannot guarantee treatment timelines or outcomes if recommended treatment schedules are not followed.

Electrolysis services require accurate health information to ensure client safety. All information is protected by HIPAA laws.

Clients agree to disclose all medications, vitamins, allergies and medical conditions including but not limited to:

• pregnancy

• skin conditions

• medications

• hormonal conditions (such as PCOS/PMOS)

• pacemakers or implanted medical devices

Failure to disclose this information may affect treatment outcomes and safety.

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge reserves the right to refuse service if a treatment is deemed unsafe and is not responsible for adverse effects as a result of client failure to fully disclose information requested.

Congratulations on your pregnancy—we’re so excited for you during this special time.

At Electrolysis Beauty Lounge, your safety and well-being are our highest priority. At this time, we do not provide electrolysis treatments to clients who are pregnant.

While electrolysis is widely regarded as safe, there is not enough definitive scientific research confirming its safety during pregnancy. Out of an abundance of caution, we choose not to perform treatments to avoid any potential risk to you or your baby.

We kindly ask that clients who are pregnant cancel any upcoming appointments. You are welcome to complete your intake forms, and we will keep your information securely on file for when you are ready to resume services.

Clients are responsible for informing Electrolysis Beauty Lounge of pregnancy prior to treatment. If a client fails to disclose a pregnancy, Electrolysis Beauty Lounge shall not be held liable for any outcomes or complications.

Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognized method for permanent hair removal, however individual results vary based on factors including:

• hair growth cycles

• hormonal influences

• treatment consistency

• medical conditions

Multiple sessions are required to achieve optimal results. No guarantees regarding treatment timelines or results are implied other than permanence of terminal hairs if client follows treatment plan. Electrolysis cannot prevent new hairs from growing as a result of client's hormonal shifts.

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge maintains a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment.

The studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if a client behaves in a manner that is:

• inappropriate

• unsafe

• disruptive

• disrespectful to staff or other clients

Electrolysis Beauty Lounge is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought into the studio.

The studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including but not limited to:

• safety concerns

• medical contraindications

• inappropriate conduct

• repeated policy violations
