Electrologists Association of New Jersey (EANJ)

EANJ provides skilled professionals for the protection and safety of the public. Licensed under the State Board of Medical Examiners, the safety and welfare of the citizens of this state are protected by requiring standards of competency and sterilization. In addition to state licensing, many of EANJ members assume the added commitment of International Board Certification, which allows the credential of Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE). New Jersey Electrologists Advisory Committee (NJEAC)

The NJEAC, which falls under the supervision of the State Board of Medical Examiners, is charged with licensing electrologists and electrology offices, approving electrology education programs throughout the state, adopting standards for courses in continuing professional education, and conducting inspections and investigations of the premises of electrology offices in New Jersey.
